What is Lampwork?

Lampworking is a technique to make handcrafted glass beads from long rods of glass.
Molten glass is wound around a steel mandrel that is held into a flame, the beads are shaped by rotating the mandrel through the flame.
A variety of tools and techniques are used to add shapes, colors and designs. Each one is its own work of art, two never quite the same.
Quality: My beads are created using Moretti/Effetre, Vetrofond, and Lauscha glass. Each is annealed in a digitally controlled kiln and cleaned when finished!

Self Representing Artist

#D22 I belong to self-representing-artist.com, a group of glass artists who are dedicated to the art of lampworking. As a self representing artist I hand create all of my own work without the aid of mass production.

My Bead Store

All of my beads are currently being sold through on online market place called Etsy. Etsy is a markplace for the selling of handmade arts and crafts.
